The British Muslim Initiative and many other British Organisations have called a National Demonstration on Saturday 3rd of January to protest against the criminal military offence carried out by Israel against the people of Gaza.
At the time of this statement being issued nearly 400 Palestinians; mostly civilians including women and children have been killed and around 2000 wounded. The stand of the international community, including the British Government, has been unacceptable and utterly shameful given that a full blown massacre is unfolding before the world’s collective eyes.
The National Demonstration will be the culmination of dozens of activities, protests, vigils and marches held throughout the country by dozens of British national and local organisations, including a daily protest held outside the Israeli Embassy in London between 2 and 4 pm. On Friday, the protest will move to the Egyptian Embassy, also between 2 and 4 pm, to demand the immediate opening of the Rafah Passing into Gaza.
